TET Assam Recruitment – Director of Elementary Education, Assam or DEE Assam has invited applications for the 9354 teaching posts in Assam. The application process for these bumper vacancies will start from today the recruitment process to fill 9,354 teaching posts. This recruitment drive will fill up 7242 vacancies of Assistant Teacher of LP Schools and 2112 Vacancies of Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher, Assamese Language Teacher, and Manipuri Language Teacher of UP Schools under Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam. TET Assam Recruitment 2023
The Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam has issued two separate notifications regarding the recruitment of 5320 Posts of Assistant Teachers in Lower and Upper Primary Schools of Assam. There will be a total of 3887 posts in the Lower Primary and 1433 posts in the Upper Primary. Candidates who are eligible as per the official notification can apply online for the recruitment. Educational Qualification: Candidates will need any one qualification from the list given below.

TET Qualification: Candidates must have passed Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for Upper Primary School.
Science Teacher (UP)
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education).
TET Qualification: Candidates must have passed Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for Upper Primary School (Science and Mathematics).
Other Criteria of TET Assam Recruitment
NIOS (ODL) Course: The candidate who has completed the 18-month D.El.Ed. course from the NIOS (ODL) will be treated at par and equally with the other candidates who have completed the 2-year course for the purpose of this recruitment process.
Nationality: An Indian Citizen and Permanent Resident of Assam is eligible for this recruitment.
Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2023.
Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation will be as follows.
